This was a beautiful restoration! It’s always a pleasure to restore a beautiful piece of furniture like this maple coffee table. It was stripped, sanded down, stained red walnut and refinished. Bilbo Baggins’ Mailbox Replica
One of the highest priorities for the Roush-Krafka family is making their house resemble Bilbo Baggins’ as much as possible. Ryan surprised Jeanette with a replica of Bilbo’s mailbox, which he of course made by hand. It is made entirely of red cedar with copper accents that Ryan cut out and hammered to make resemble the original. As this mailbox weathers it will look more and more like Bilbo’s and we’re so excited to surprise each other with treasures hidden inside on special occasions.
